Minicom's commitment to the RoHS Directive

Minicom Advanced Systems top management is resolutely committed to the protection of the environment. Minicom Advanced Systems is also committed to eliminating environmentally hazardous substances from our products as defined in the current EU's RoHS Directive. Therefore a dedicated task team has been appointed to ensure compliance of the latest directives and standards in this field. The directive of the EU in the matter of restriction of hazardous substances requires compliance by July 1, 2006. This is currently dealt with through a comprehensive plan, which is being implemented to comply with the RoHS directive within the allotted timeframe. Our intentions are to be fully compliant on the date established by the EU. We take into consideration that earlier target dates must be achieved to allow our resellers and customers to have compliant products in their stock in advance of the compliance date. Therefore this process will be done in full coordination with our partners and we will update them accordingly.
